May '08 - Outside Dining, BBQ, Blues & Much More!

Cally Logo The new season brings new ways and reasons to grab a bite, have drinks, catch the game, or enjoy the best entertainment Detroit has to offer at Cally's.

Weather permitting we now open the patio daily for dining and drinks. The patio is great way to relax and enjoy the great Spring weather with friends and family.

As of writing this the Wings and Pistons have both advanced past the first round of their playoffs! Don't forget you can always catch the game on large HD TV's! The Tigers are even close to a 500% wining percentage. Go Wings! Go Pistons! Go Get 'Em Tigers!

Fri, May 9th - VIDEO DJ ... Come listen to great tunes and watch your favorite music videos on our big screen.
Wed., May 14th - BIKE NIGHT kickoff ... Michigan has always been one of the biggest states for registered motorcycles so were dedicating Wednesday nights for local riders and those that love bikes to come hang out and have some fun. Our friends at Real Riderz magazine are helping us kick off the initial nights and Operation Care will be on hand to raise awareness and funds for care packages for our Michigan Troops serving abroad. Come out, check out some cool bikes, and get to know some great people!
Fri & Sat, May 16 & 17th - PLANET OF FUN ... Detroit killer, good time band returns for another weekend long celebration. We heard that Bruce's (guitarist) birthday is Sunday, so Saturday night should be interesting?
Sun, May 18th - CHEF CHRIS' Boogie Woogie BLUES & BAR-B-Que ... What's better than a plate of BBQ, Cold SUDS, and Rawcus Delta Groove? Not much. We have got the D's double threat CHEF CHRIS hosting the party serving up his own tasty BBQ and smokin' blues with his band the Rump Shakers. Best of all the party starts @ 5PM and wraps up by 9PM so everyone can get home and be rested for work on Monday. Come join the party!
Thu, May 22nd - Carrick House presents JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE ... JUSTIN is the son of the legendary performer STEVE EARLE. He is a emerging star of the Roots music scene and garnering critically acclaim for his unique sound, songwriting, and performances. With a album moving up the album charts and recent appearances on NPR, Mountain Stage, Acoustic Cafe, and the stage of the Grand Ole Opry this a show area music lovers don't want to miss. Sun, May 25th - DETROIT BLUES SOCIETY Spring Fundraiser ... The DBS is a non-profit organization which celebrates the heritage and promotes America's true art form the Blues. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the DBS to support its mission! Six of the best area Blues bands will be performing including the ALLIGATORS and FRONT STREET BLUES BAND.
