A smokin' July at Cally's

Cally Logo The calendar has just turned to July and it promises to be a smokin' month at Cally's.

On WEDNESDAY, July 16 will are going to be hosting a special FREE show with BLACKBERRY SMOKE to benefit Operation Care Package of Michigan (Operation Care.) The volunteers at Operation Care raise funds and collect donations to send regular care packages to our Michigan military heroes serving overseas. We'll be accepting donations at the door in exchange you'll have the opportunity to hear some great music, hang out with some great people, and show you remember and support out Michigan troops!

We're also excited about the great blues that will be flowing throughout the month with the assistance of our friends at the Detroit Blues Society!

TEXAS HOLD 'EM Poker returns on a weekly basis beginning THURSDAY, July 10 when the Pioneer Poker League makes its debut at Callahan's. It's FREE to play and there will be two games nightly starting at 7PM & 10PM.

Don't forget Cally's is also a great place to meet with friends and enjoy our outdoor patio for lunch, dinner, or just a few cool drinks after work.

Sat, July 12th - BERNARD ALLISON ... Renowned guitar player and son of the late-great Luther Allison brings his soul driven blues sound to the motor city.
Wed, July 16th - OPERATION CARE Benefit w/BLACKBERRY SMOKE ... Atlanta-base country rockers BLACKBERRY SMOKE play a special benefit show for Operation Care. Donations will be accepted at the door. The band regularly supports ZZ Top, Lynard Skynard, and Cross Canadian Ragweed.
FRI, July 18th - ANTHONY GOMES & New Soul Cowboys ... The Nashville-based singer, songwriter, guitarist returns for another great evening of blues, country, rock, and soul.
Thu & Fri, July 24th & 25th - PLANET OF FUN ... Metro-Detroit's favorite local band returns for two more nights of great tunes and great times!
Sat, July 25th - TAB BENOIT ... The Grammy nominated Blues entertainer of the year returns for another show. His March show sold out in advance, don't miss this chance to see Tab!
Thu, July 31st - WALTER TROUT & The Radicals ... Legendary Blues guitarist, WALTER TROUT, makes his return to the motor city. A great night of blues is guaranteed!
